About Us...

David Perl began taking pictures with a point & shoot camera while he was attending the State University Of New York At Buffalo. He quickly became frustrated by the constraints of point & shoot photography and began using a Nikon SLR camera borrowed from his father.

In order to attain the perfect picture, David might crouch down to be the same height as a child, climb steep rocks with his tripod or wait patiently for a butterfly to come into his view. Whether he is examining the bark of a tree or observing his niece blow bubbles, he always sees the potential for a unique photo.

He thinks it is easy to take a good photo if you take pictures of subjects you enjoy while spending time with people you care about. His wife Laurie is his greatest inspiration.
